Host requirements

Before install, confirm with your panel (hPanel or similar):

PHP 8.1+	Extensions: intl, mbstring, curl, json, pdo_mysql, sodium
MySQL or MariaDB	Empty database created for this store
Domain + SSL	HTTPS enabled for the store address
Cron or scheduled HTTP	For cart reminders and nightly backups (see Mail and System)

On shared hosting the site usually lives in public_html. You do not need Node.js, SSH, or git on the server.

FTP uploads must be binary. Text mode changes file hashes and System will refuse an update until files match the release again.
