Mail and cron

Setup → Mail stores SMTP host, port, encryption, username, and password (encrypted at rest, masked after save).

Send a test message after saving. If settings are wrong, the test keeps a visible failure so you can fix them.

Abandoned-cart email runs from an hourly cron POST to the URL and bearer key shown on the Mail screen:

Until SMTP works, messages may sit in the spool.
